The Bangalore Theological Forum is a prestigious academic journal brought out by UTC atleast twice a year. Academic articles in the BTF are written by faculty in UTC and by contributors from outside as well. The BTF has a very high subscriber’s base all over India and the world. The editor will be a faculty member selected by the faculty.
Masihi Sevak is a magazine brought out for the alumni of the college. The publication includes meditations, sermons, reports and information which are of benefit for the alumni of the college. The alumni of the college usually write for the magazine and the editor is a faculty member.
Saplings is a student’s college magazine which is brought out by students every year. The magazine will have articles, photos, information, poems and student related material in it. This is a student’s initiative and the editor is elected by the Carey society, which is the cultural wing of the college.
Faculty research seminars are held every month on Wednesday late afternoons usually in the Tagore hall. Faculty members present papers which are responded and commented by other faculty members and students. This is a serious academic exercise which is co-ordinated by the Master’s dean. Visiting professors and faculty also present papers at this research seminar.
